Javier (Xabier in Basque ) It is a villa and Spanish municipality of the region of Navarre, situated in the merindad de Sangüesa, in the region of Sangüesa. Its population in 2013 was 115 inhabitants ( INE ).It is mainly famous for being the town that gave birth to San Francisco Javier, in the homonymous Castle. It comes from the Basque " etxeberri " that means " new home ".
