It may be a bad interpretation of the " Oedipus complex " it is a complex, a psychological structure, and not an evil. But surely refers to " MAL " as an epidemic, which expands by Thebes in the work of Sophocles, and to stop it ( according to the Oracle, ) they should expel the King Oedipus.
