que son salares
  23

Plural of salar, synonymous with saline or place where salt accumulates after the evaporation of the seawater by the heat of the Sun. The Salt Lake or saline may be natural, as the salar de Uyuni in the high plateau of the Bolivian Andes mountains in the Department of Potosí, where there may be ten billion tons; salting can also be artificial allowing entering large tracts of salt water from the sea or a salty stream, in order to then close and wait for the water to evaporate by the action of the Sun and wind. They do so in Santa Pola, Alicante, and elsewhere in the Spanish Levante.
