Spurge flax, thymelaea, chorovisco, trovisco, matapulgas, matagallinas, matapollos, shrub up to a meter in height present among the thickets of alistano mount lanceolate leaves with white flowers and fruit in the form of red berry. It is a poisonous plant, because baking Peel, leaves and berries is very laxative. It is also used in the chicken coop as an insecticide against the piojillo disease. It is said that some pastors tied a branch of spurge flax to the tails of sheep or lambs to halt decomposition.
