In reality paita, literally, it is a quechua phrase and means do to do.?? Should not be confused with do taita which is a noun and means did father do, on the other hand do paita is a phrase consisting of a pronoun ( pay = the )?????? and a preposition ( ta = )The generation of this name is, possibly to two razon:primero: when a native who is running together with others, a stranger asks you something, you are not going to answer the question but who is going to say ask him to do noting to another.?? And in quechua, understanding the word, it does pay-ta do.??Second: According to historians this place has been where most boats of the conquerors arrived. Therefore also reached more people who did not know the place or they knew not the quechua. Do, and soon they were treading ground asked: how is the place called? And the responses they received were do paita do, do paita do, do paita do both Spaniards believed that the place was called Paita and gave him the name of San Francisco de Paita.?????
