pinna fidelis
  16

It is espam for a winery and wines from Spain, but since it is we will see a couple of details. The word pinna is used in Spanish, although to name in biology the "leaflet of a compound leaf" or more rarely an "ear"; that does come from the Latin pinna, ae ("feather, fin") and that is why it is associated with the projections and heights, which ended up giving words like pinnatus, a, um ("crenellated") and in Spanish to piñel ("turret, watchtower"). Later it was dissimilated in penna, ae which is the antecedent of our rock ("high and rocky outcrop"). Fidelis, e was always "faithful, safe, reliable", so there is nothing to contribute. See faith ("trust, fidelity"), Peñafiel, Piñel de Abajo, Piñel de Arriba.
