It is one of the names with which it is designated to a Colombian ethnic group settled in the lower part of the Apaporis River, in the Department of Amazonas and Municipality of Leticia. Some of its members have moved to borders with the Department of Vaupés and even to Brazil. They are also called Letuama, Detuama or Lithuanian.
