CHIPANO 1 . surname of Venezuelan origin. In 2022 about 135 people have that surname. Its origin and meaning are unknown. 2 . CHIPANA is the first naval combat of the War of the Pacific, in 1879, a week after the war was declared, in which Chile faces the Peruvian-Bolivian confederation at Punta Chipana.
