al bardo
  52

The expression is used as "improvised, in a hurry and without due care". In lunfardo it was originally a "poorly organized assault". It can come from Portuguese albardeiro ( "bad tailor, deproljo" ) or from the Spanish albarde ( "bad done") , or both. Although it can also refer to bard, it has Italian origin.
