VIGATANA of the Catalan vigatans, one of the names of the AUSTRACISTA side of the Spanish War of Succession (1701-1713), which ended with the Treaty of Utrecht. Vigatá is in Catalan the Gentile of Vich, which in Spanish has many meanings, such as vigatan, vigatés, vigitano, Vigitanés, vigicense, vicense and viquense, from whose area came the nobles and landowners who signed the Vigitans Pact, in 1705, in the midst of war, generating the austtracist rebellion. 2 .
