There is no security about the origin of the name, but sure is not because of the shoes they wear in China; most likely come from the Italian cianella (pr. chianel-la ), a deformation of pianella ( "planita , chatita" ) from the Latin planus ( "flat, flat" ), by the sole without heel. 2nd_ Festive version of Chinese ( "woman" ) .
