It is one of the common names receiving the marine fish Lepidocybium flavobrunneum of the family Gempylidae. Other common names: fish oil (Uruguay), oil (Cuba), miramelindo or miramelinda (Ecuador). It is located in all the seas. In Japan is considered toxic because of the high content of fatty esters and its consumption is forbidden.
