By extension it is something laughable, as a ridiculous clothing or a task obviously made by who is not suitable public. The name comes from Antonio Cuccolicio, which in 1890 was a pawn of the Podestà circus and served as a model for a comic actor who imitated it in its issue by the way of speaking.
