It is the common name we give in Colombia to very common birds of the pigeon family. We also give them the names of columbines, tortolites or coconuts. Its scientific name is Streptopelia turtur and belongs to the family Columbidae. It is considered the symbol of faithful and lasting love. Colloquially love-to-las or love-to-tolos means lover's partner.
