It is a transliteration of the 1514 idish; 1495; 1514; (fret, ass), which is actually pronounced as 'tajas', but reaches American Spanish from the German spelling Tuches (pr. ) brought by European immigration; and in Buenos Aires they took away the 's' to make it singular 128558; ( anyway. . . ) .
