TRANQUILANDIA It was a vast expanse in the Llanos del Yari, a jungle area of the Colombian departments of Caquetá and Meta. There the Medellin cartel, formed by the Ochoa brothers, Pablo Escobar Gaviria and others produced cocaine in 19 laboratories and used an airfield with 8 runways to transport the drug.
