In Colombia is one of the names that receives the Royal Palm, jipijapa, iraca or iraca Palm. It is a Palm which hats are made and whose scientific name is Carludovica palmata and belongs to the family Cyclanthaceae. It is also a town and the name of a wasteland in the Department of Boyacá.
