It is one of the common forms of call to the pink river dolphin, which exists in the rivers of the Orinoco and Amazon basins. It is a mammal, not a fish, of the order Cetacea. Its scientific name is Inia geoffrensis and belongs to the Iniidae family. Also receives other common names: boto, bufeo, the Amazon dolphin, Dolphin of Meta, Orinoco dolphin.
