In Colombia, the term is used to designate another person who also carries our name. Although the SAR accepted as a synonym for namesake the homonymous Word, we use it all when they are the same names and last name them. In Colombia was also the stage name and nickname of a comedian and composer named Pompilio Ceballos. He composed the Bambuco "Rosalinda".
