1. m. C. Rica El Salva., Guat., Hond. and IAS. Tree of the family Sapotaceae, about fifteen meters in height, with dark grey bark, cream white flowers, and fruit globose Berry ovoid, pointed color yellowish, very sweet. Eaten raw and cooked.
