It is the name of a small Ecuadorian nomadic indigenous group, which remains in voluntary isolation in the region of Pastasa and Orellana. Currently it is believed are inside the Yasuni National Park. and that its members averaged about 200 or 300. They have been affected by oil exploitation in the area.
