Meaning of taitetú

taitetú: It is one of the common names of the zaino (or saino) collar, pig rosillo or necklace peccary. It is also called collared boar, javelin, chatter, baquiro, huangana, kure'i, k'itam or coyámel. Its scientific name is Dicotyles tajacu and it belongs to the family Tayassuidae.; TAITETÚ Tayassu tajacu, is a peccary that has a white line around the neck, which looks like a necklace, and which is distinguished by its very thick hairs that bristles when angry.
