It is the name of a mountain located in the North of Israel where took place the Transfiguration of Jesus. It is in the Region of Galilee. In Ecuador there is a hill called Tabor, the same as in Colombia (municipality of Pulí, Department of Cundinamarca). Tabor is also the name of several locations in the United States is the States of Dakota of the South, Iowa and Minnesota.
