2. m. Chile, Ec. y Perú. Bird with black legs and beak, feathers spotted red, yellow, blue, green and white, and the tail and blackish wings. It has a bright red bow in the middle of the head. It is found on the shores of the lagoons and builds its nest in the dry leaves of totora.
