This is the name given to the set of artistic expressions that find their origin between the longing for the past and the desire for a future (or present) better than the one that is lived and that are therefore influenced by the enthusiasm of utopians, eutopians or dystopians about an imaginary future. In short, retrofuturism is today's vision of yesterday's imagined future, for a world of tomorrow that has never been.
