Meaning of quietismo

quietismo: 2 . It is said of the doctrine of some Christian mystics, and is considered a heterodoxy. His teaching is that the supreme perfection of the soul of the human being is the annihilation of one's own will in order to unite with God, in passive contemplation and indifference to everything that may happen to him in such a state.; It is a branch of Salafism (Islamic totalitarian radical religious movement), which is also called Salafism of preaching or purist Salafism. He preaches an apolitical discourse, based only on the religious aspect. He is also called Shaykhist Salafist. It means standing still, practicing inaction.
