1. f. herbaceous annual plant, the family of the Borragináceas, with hairy, erect stems of two to four decimetres high, seated, rough, oval leaves of green color with white spots, red flowers in Terminal clusters, and dry, multiple fruit with four smooth carpels free among themselves. It is common in Spain, and the BREW of the leaves is used as chest medicine.
2. f. coriaceous Lichen living on the trunks of trees, and whose surface resembles by its aspect to a cut lung.
