The post-traumatic stress disorder, so the term is used, it is a mental illness which is triggered once someone has suffered or witnessed a frightening and very serious event. Its symptoms are manifested in the fact of having nightmares, false or repeated vivid memories, as well as constant unconscious thoughts about one or several scenes of the adverse event.
