1º_ Vessel, usually of clay, with a body thicker than the neck. It is a variant of perol, or perolo, and all come from the pear fruit shape. 2º_ Derogatory but naturalized version that was used more in the sixteenth century to name the Peruvian, or who returned to Spain from the viceroyalty of Peru.
