Orosi is the name of a village in Costa Rica, in the Paradise Canton, Carthage Province. It is also the name of a river and a valley in the same area. Orosi is also a California state town in the United States. Orosí, this with tilde (language chorotega or mangue), is the name of an indigenous king in Costa Rica and the name of a stratovolcano of the Cordillera de Guanacaste.
