In mountainous terrain is a plain high eztension and low altitude, usually not passes the 500 meters high and surrounded by canyons of rivers or lower parts. Plateaus, is the name of a municipality of the Department of Meta in Colombia, now famous as there was the symbolic act of the surrender of weapons by the FARC, within the framework of the peace process in Colombia.
