1. m. perennial plant of the family Malvaceae, with stem of a meter in height around, leaves are soft, very hairy, oval, lobes bit outgoing and toothed on the margin, reddish white axillary flowers, the fruit of the Mallow, and thick root. It is abundant in the wet lands, and the root is used as an emollient.
