Strawberry tree.
(Perhaps of the voice prerromana * motoroneu, var. of * morotonu, strawberry, Blueberry, Strawberry tree).
1. m. shrub of the family Ericaceae, with stems of three to four meters in height, short petiole leaves, lanceolate, persistent, leathery, dark green, glossy by the beam and glaucous on the underside; flowers in panicle clustering of globose, whitish or rosy corolla, and spherical fruit two or three centimeters in diameter, edible, red exterior, yellow inside, grainy surface and with three or four seeds small and compressed.
3. m. small tassel in a manner similar to the fruit of the madroño.4. m. American tree that has up to ten meters in height, with yellow fruit of white pulp and two or more seeds.
