In astronomy it is the name of the Local Supercluster in which we find ourselves. It is the supercluster of galaxies that hosts the Milky Way and approximately 100,000 other nearby galaxies. It is a word of Hawaiian origin that means immeasurable skies.

For astronomy enthusiasts it is our biggest home. Hawaiian for "immeasurable sky": A supercluster of about 100 . 000 galaxies among which is our Camino de Santiago, with a diameter of about 500 million light years and with a mass of about one hundred thousand quadrillion suns like ours.
