José Fernández Gómez was a Spanish journalist who settled in Colombia, where he was host of several programs and television newscasts contest between 1980 and 1999. As a presenter on the national news it is characterized by being the only one of the presenters who didn't hand the cameraman to greet him at the end of the broadcast. That attitude was heavily criticized.
