It is an acronym of INIFAP, which corresponds to the Instituto Nacional de Investigaciones Forestales, Agrícolas y Pecuarias, in Mexico. It was created in 1985 and is the result of the integration of the INIA ( National Institute of agricultural research 41, INIF ( National Institute of research forest ) and the 40 NPII; Instituto Nacional de Investigaciones Pecuarias ): a scientific and technological institution.
