Plural of huaya . Name of the fruits of a tree, from the family Sapindaceae, in Mexico and Guatemala. We also know them as suckers, mamoncillos, quenepas, mojones, guayas, macos, chupalotes, talpas. Its scientific name is Melicoccus bijugatus. They are dangerous to be consumed by children in the absence of adults.
