Meaning of gaucho

gaucho: It is the name given to the inhabitants of the plains of Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, , Southern Bolivia and Northern Chile. They are characterized by their special clothing and by being skilled riders. Plainof the Great Chaco Region.; A gaucho is a rural inhabitant of Argentina, Uruguay and southern Brazil. Very skilled rider. Similar to Chilean huaso, American cowboy and Mexican charro.
