Gashapampa-is a village in the Department of Huánuco of Peru this name is a derivative of the phrase kech-hua " gash-sha-pam-pa ". Referred to as " gash-sha " a set of small dry branches and as " pam-pa " a " plain ". Po so the phrase says " plain of dry branches ".
