It is one of the common names that have the Mexico to the tree Cordia dentata. It also has other common names such as zazamil, distemper, gulabere, nanguipo, skull, matzu. It belongs to the family Boraginaceae. It has edible fleshy fruits. In Colombia we say Caujaro, Uvita. In Central America they say Jiguilote and Chachalaco.
