DIALOGUE FIGURES . LITERARY FIGURES, also called RHETORICAL FIGURES are expressions and phrases that are used in a non-traditional way and that give words special connotations, either to highlight a concept or to make the discourse more eloquent. It is intended to add expressiveness or beauty in order to surprise, excite, suggest or persuade. There are, according to my classification, 6 different types of literary figures, namely: 1. FIGURES OF DICTION fundamentally affect the formation of words. There are 4 subgroups: 1 . 1 . FIGURES OF TRANSFORMATION or METAPLASMS, in which in ordinary language it would be incorrect, 1 . 2 . DEFINITION FIGURES, They are those used to reflect linguistically the appearance of the topics discussed.
