Plural of stigma, polysemic word derived from the Latin and its eponymous Greek " 34 stigma; what marks on the body, mark, scar. These signals in the body can be natural or allegedly supernatural and miraculous. In the latter case signs, wounds bleeding, similar to the of Christ on the cross, which appear and disappear without explanation or apparent cause, tend to produce very religious people, as they confess to those who have seen it. I have not personally seen any of this, but we have to believe the testimony of those who have Yes seen it. Agnostics explain it as soon as cleared of human Sikhism and of course are not, for them, no indication of anything supernatural, whose existence can not be demonstrated. Metaphorically also can be understood by stigma a characteristic, attitude or persistent conduct of an individual or social group that is not supported by the rest of the society and that such individual or group are rejected or stigmatized. Stigma is also called a part of the reproductive system of the plants receiving pollen during pollination. And finally stigma is also every one of the ventilation openings of the respiratory system of insects through which communicate with the medium.
