encodonar
  24

ENCODONAR / ACODONAR / ENCACHAR . ( See CODON . ) Paving with codons. It must be differentiated from the encachado which is the pavement made with small boulders, often interspersing taba bones and various colored stones with artistic intention. They can also be seen with brick to sardinel fences. It is rare to see it in stables, but it is common to find them in zaguanes, patios and low floors of both the old inns and the farmhouses, inns and the manor and labor houses. An easily visitable example is in the tavern of the famous Mesón de Cándido in Segovia and in not a few restaurants in Ávila. Unlike what the Dictionary of the RAE says in its 5th meaning, this verb, enca-char, is not exclusive to Cantabria, as can be seen in the Castilian provinces of the south and other areas of that environment. As for the form, the encoding form is more frequent.
