dolar blue
  37

The "Blue Dollar" is the North American currency when traded in Argentina between private or private individuals, without state regulation. The Argentine State regulates the legal purchase and sale of dollars, along with their price, their maximum purchase amount ( 200US), their taxes (60% ), and the requirements and justifications to be presented in order to access the purchase of that currency in the banks. Any dollar that is bought or sold by individuals, or exchange houses not governed or regulated by the State ( "caves") , but only by the value given by the Market in its purchase and sale, is called "blue dollar", and is technically illegal. It is accessed by persons who cannot or do not wish to submit all relevant justifications and requirements to the State, who are inhibited by one of the multiple possibilities that invalidate the user's access to dollars (since receiving both them and their employers some form of State aid, or not being able to justify their income because they do not have a registered job , among many others), by users who want to access more than the maximum purchase cap ( 200 US), etc.
