motín
  66

RIOT = rebellion of the lower layers of society against the established order. When that action occurs on board a boat, the revolt involves disobedience to the chain of command, constituting a crime categorized as mutiny. Outside the naval regulations, the term mutiny often referred to a revolt, generally disorganised, more or less violent, of the urban lower classes against what is perceived as some form of oppression. In many cases the mutiny begins as a riot of subsistence, i.e., a spontaneous revolt in search of coincideindo with a period of famine staple foods, which explains why many riots have their origin in a market.
