It was basically a space created in the open air or in a room, to cook food. Building a surface or base square or round, with an approximate height of 70 or 80 cm, large enough with bricks, so that in it, could put several spaces separated with bricks, for placing several pans on grills or Griddles of clay or metal. The main fuel used, was dry sticks of trees or branches of thick trees, such as Mesquite, the guamuchil.
