For Christians it symbolizes the birth of Jesus of Nazareth. It is a very family day where humanity calls that you live together in love, peace and understanding to others since it is the only path that leads to the fullness as a species. With this message Jesus tried to explain that only evolving technologically we would lead to self-destruction and that it was necessary therefore to cultivate the soul. Christians gather around a table to dine at family and wish love and peace to then go to the special mass of the rooster. But in practice, the consumer society has achieved that people spent copious dinner and many gifts to children and adults doing that the authentic spirit of this holiday is diluted which sugar cube in a glass of water.
