abundance: too much, many, relatively much. Proportion between two magnitudes physical or quantum [rich and poor], exaggerated and that is established through a statistical comparison: more wealthy than poor or poorer than the rich; ignorance abounds, abundant science; abundance at harvest; abundance of pests; abundance of Sun; abundance of rainfall, etc. Wealth is relative, if you consider the shortage also abounds: a shortage... less abundance.
