There are rivers and salt lakes where there is no life for excess salt and where is extracted the brine, mainly for its salt evaporating the water in salinas. The brine can be poisonous to some animals who drink this.By extension, also called brine to highly concentrated solutions of other salts. Examples are the brine of calcium chloride and sodium dichromate.The brine is distinguished from brackish water in that the latter has a lower concentration of salt.
