Ramphocelus : Genus of 4 passerine birds of the family of traupids whose members live in the Neotropics. They have the lower jaws of prominent colors, which is reduced in females. They are found in semi-open areas. The nest made by the female is shaped like a cup. They hunt insects on the fly or pecking at the leaves.
